How We Write

Six Wheel Society is edgy, cool, niche, technical, smart, funny and artistic, all at once. We write like the smartest, funniest buddy at the shop. He knows his torque specs, roasts your zip-tied bumper, then helps you fix it.

The rules we hold ourselves to

  1. Duallies only. If it doesn't matter to a six-wheel owner, it doesn't run.
  2. Real depth, plain English. We explain GVWR, offset or load range so a first-timer gets it and a fabricator nods.
  3. Dry humor, light trash talk. We punch at situations (drive-thrus, inner duals, "it'll fit"), never at readers. SRW guys included. We still like you.
  4. Kustom Kulture art vibe. Section names, imagery and plaques that look like a hot-rod show program, not a brochure. The Deep Dive · Rubber Science · The Gallery · The Garage.
  5. No fluff, no hype, no invented facts. If we can't source a number, we don't print it.

Two sources, every time

Every technical claim is backed by at least two independent sources. If we can't find two, it gets cut or rewritten until we can stand behind it.

Ratings come from your door-jamb sticker and the manufacturer's towing guide. We'll say so every time, because those beat any forum post, ours included.

Who owns this place

Ownership disclosure: Six Wheel Society is owned by American Design Factory (ADF), makers of forged wheels, built in Ontario, California. SWS is owned by ADF; editorial is independent of sponsor content.

What that means in practice:

  • ADF appears only in clearly labeled "Sponsored" or "Presented by American Design Factory" spots, never as a sales pitch inside an article.
  • Sponsors never write or approve editorial.
  • Every sponsor placement is labeled.
